Holyyyyyyyy shit. Wow. As we're heading out of this human sweep, can we appreci8 the action horror games this year has 8lessed us with???????? Deadspace, Resident Evil 4, and Alan Wake 2 all immediately come to mind with that. It's just 8een SO wonderful. I honestly H8 horror games, 8ut the gamplay loops those games provide are literally unmatched in any other genre of game I have ever experienced. The tight resources that roll over into either the feeling of 8eing a God or a wreck who's 8arely getting 8y is amazing. And 8oth of those feelings are amazing in their own right. One is an adrenaline rush of having your good management pay off, and the other is an adrenaline rush from having to grit your teeth and make riskier plays 8ecause of past mistakes! It's fucking gr8! Gog!!!!!!!!
I just. GAH. 8efore this year I 8arely stood Action Horror, and now I'm desper8ely awaiting the next game that comes out...
To end off this post with a prompt that could potentially roll into a thread, have you played any Action Horror/ Survival Horror games l8ely??? If so, what were your thoughts!?
